| This program system was designed for handling
rotationally symmetric shell structures under rotationally
symmetric load. It is suitable for the calculation of annular
slabs as well as for containers and takes into account special
conditions such as orthotropic material properties or elastic
bedding. Only the constituting elements of the structure's
geometry need to be defined, and for this task all the tools of
the CAD user interface can be used.
This allows for the speedy modeling of complex,
multiple-shelled constructions, which can then be analyzed under
special loads such as hydrostatic pressure or temperature. |
