Prestressed Bridge
 |
This example deals with a three-span bridge
construction. The static system is made up of beam elements
with a T-beam section. Additional area elements will be added to
account for the lateral supporting direction and to distribute
the load.
The figure shows the beam elementation with tendon groups. |
The dialog for defining the tendon group properties and entering
the tendons at the desired lateral and longitudinal sections
exemplifies the user friendliness of the Prestressed Concrete
module.

Editing the tendon groups in the section through one of the two
main girders: The resulting prestressing force curve and the
tendon group coordinates are applied simultaneously.

The concluding checks according to DIN
technical report provide the resulting stresses as well as the
required reinforcements both graphically and in a log.
Here, the resulting stresses are always shown with the
permitted limits.
The graphical representations of stresses from decompression
or fatigue offer valuable help in evaluating the system. |
